Luxury Villa Rental
in Saint-Tropez

The peninsula the world photographs and the few inhabit — staffed estates in Les Parcs and Les Graniers, vineyard retreats in Ramatuelle, and waterfront residences above the Bay of Canoubiers.

Cannes · French Riviera

Saint-Tropez occupies a peculiar position in the geography of European luxury: nowhere is more photographed, yet the addresses that matter most are invisible to public record. The peninsula is a dead end by design — there is no through road, no passing traffic — and the properties that line its forested interior have been held by the same families for decades.

Opera Prestige holds a confidential selection of private villa rentals on the French Riviera, with particular depth in Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez, the historic domain of Les Graniers, the vineyard slopes of Ramatuelle and the waterfront of Les Canoubiers. Every estate is accessed through direct owner relationship and inspected personally — it appears on no listing platform.

The port is a short drive. From the right terrace, a bespoke yacht charter can be positioned at the quay within the hour — provisioned for a day among the Îles d’Or, a crossing to Corsica, or a sunset return along the coast. The shore and the seclusion coexist here in a way difficult to find elsewhere on the Mediterranean.

The Cannes Guide

A Private Editorial

The peninsula divides into distinct territories — each with its own logic, its own clientele, its own reasons to be preferred. What follows is a practical anatomy of the addresses that matter.

The Enclaves

Les Parcs & Les Graniers

Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez is a forested, privately patrolled domain of some four hundred hectares, entered only through controlled gates — the highest values on the peninsula are held here. Closer to the town, the historic domain of Les Graniers holds rare belle-époque bastides within walking distance of the port and its own beach.

Coastline

Pampelonne & Ramatuelle

The five-kilometre arc of Pampelonne defines a Saint-Tropez summer, and the estates above it command the most sought-after views in Europe. The village of Ramatuelle, perched among the vineyards, hosts the Festival des Années Folles each August. Among our estates here is La Villa Maëlys, a Provençal property minutes from the sand.

Lifestyle

The Port & Beyond the Quay

The port is a spectacle best observed from a distance — or from your own deck. Behind it, the old town keeps a quieter register. Our concierge in Saint-Tropez opens what cannot be reserved, and the quay is minutes away for a yacht charter. Estates such as the neo-Provençal Villa Belvedere and the contemporary Villa La Baldina sit within a short walk of the village.

Beyond

La Croix-Valmer & the Cap

South of the peninsula, where the road ends, the coastal path continues to Cap Lardier — protected maquis and empty coves. For those weighing acquisition alongside rental, our ultra-luxury real estate advisory covers the full arc of the French Riviera, from Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat to the Italian border.

Seasonal Calendar

When to Stay

May – June

Before the Season

Saint-Tropez in late spring belongs almost entirely to the peninsula's own residents. The beach clubs open — Club 55, Nikki Beach, Tahiti — at a register the high summer never permits. Sea temperatures are rising and the finest estates remain available. Clients who understand the calendar reserve this window deliberately.

July – August

High Season

The port fills and the road from Sainte-Maxime becomes a study in patience — inside Les Parcs and above Pampelonne, none of it is relevant. The finest villas for July and August are allocated months, sometimes a year, in advance. Engage early or accept limitation.

September – October

The Return

September is the peninsula's argument for itself: the sea at its warmest, Pampelonne almost empty, the Ramatuelle vendange under way, the roads navigable. The port crowd has dispersed and the light acquires an autumn precision many consider the coast at its finest.

Getting to Cannes

Arrival, Without Friction

Private Aviation

International private jets arrive at Nice Côte d’Azur (full customs, FBO facilities) or at La Môle — Aéroport du Golfe de Saint-Tropez, which accepts turboprops and light jets and all but eliminates the road transfer. FBO coordination is handled in advance.

Helicopter Transfer

Twenty minutes from Nice Côte d’Azur to the Grimaud helipad, with a chauffeured vehicle waiting — the standard arrival for clients whose time on the ground is measured carefully. Both legs are coordinated as a single movement.

Chauffeur Transfer

Fleet vehicles are held throughout your stay for movement between the estate, the port, Pampelonne and excursions along the coast. Given the peninsula’s road geometry, a dedicated driver is the only rational arrangement.

Premium Rail

The high-speed service from Paris reaches Saint-Raphaël in under five hours, with a chauffeured transfer of around forty-five minutes completing the journey to the peninsula — practical for parties joining mid-stay.

Have Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it cost to rent a luxury villa in Saint-Tropez?

Rates within our Saint-Tropez collection begin at approximately €20,000 per week for a six-bedroom estate and extend to €130,000 and beyond for the largest waterfront and Les Parcs properties during July and August. Every quotation reflects the specific estate, the period and the staffing requested, and is prepared privately on enquiry.

Which areas of Saint-Tropez offer the most privacy?

Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez provides the highest level of physical security — a gated, privately patrolled domain. The historic Les Graniers domain and the elevated estates above Pampelonne and Les Canoubiers offer comparable seclusion with proximity to the sea. La Croix-Valmer, south of the headland, is quieter still.

Are the villas staffed, and what does that include?

Yes. Every estate in our Saint-Tropez portfolio is delivered with resident staff — typically a private chef, daily housekeeping and an estate manager. Security personnel, additional household staff, chauffeurs and yacht crew can all be arranged as part of the same engagement.

How far in advance should we reserve for summer?

For the peak weeks of July and August, demand consistently outpaces the inventory of significant properties; the finest estates are typically allocated by late autumn of the preceding year. We recommend making contact as early as possible to ensure genuine choice within the collection.

Can Opera Prestige arrange the yacht charter and concierge alongside the villa?

Yes, and this is the standard arrangement for most of our Saint-Tropez clients. A single advisor coordinates the estate, yacht positioning, private aviation or helicopter transfers, chauffeured vehicles and every concierge request as one continuous engagement from arrival to departure.
